I wear a Shoei Glamster. This helmet weights 1200gr (ECE22.05) and is now 1300gr. The lock on this screen is also stupid. You often push the helmet to the back of your head!! Iam thinking to swap to the AGV K6S now. Maybe it’s an idea to get this bracket of the viser?? I don’t drive a sports bike………but it must be watertight….because it rains here in. holland 3/4 year!!!

I always wondered where all the memes about loosing 10mm sockets came from, now I know..... He's not joking about needing the magnet. And the socket length and extension length need to be spot on for the jigsaw to work. You've probably been doing mechanics stuff for a while if you're setup to do this.

Personally I dont think GTP should have BOP. Honestly kinda against it period but I understand it in the GT classes but the GTPs are supposed to be pretty much balls to the wall see what a manufacturer can engineer.

I find it interesting because this is a way to maintain bop while giving the teams more power unit freedom.

On the contrary, this boomer wouldn't purchase a hybrid but somewhat admires the technology IMSA has achieved here. My only complaint would be its not explained well if at all with the coverage (nor does the average race fan understand it or how much Race Control monitors it)

When the time comes I’m gonna try it without lifting the engine but if I throw in the towel and do it this way I don’t need to disconnect the engine from the headers? Or the engine +headers from the over pipe?

Like others mentioned I would recommend not engaging your sockets all the way to the ratchet (i.e. don’t let the ball on your ratchet lock into the socket when you are removing / installing the spark plugs, ignition coil bolts should be fine to completely lock the socket on for) when removing / installing the spark plugs. I also found a few other tools useful: 1. LED headband, it’s a very tight space you’ll be working with and there will not be much visibility even with light. 2.Make sure you have as low profile of a 3/8 ratchet as possible (i.e. the profile of the head that attaches with the socket) 3. I found for the rear spark plugs that there is a little less space than the front. A 3 inch extension may be a little too long to get the ratchet in/out when the spark plug is on its last threads (mine got stuck once or twice lol). To remedy this, I bought a set of wobbly sockets from harbor freight that are somewhere around 1.5 - 2 inches long as an extension. I then duct taped around the wobble extension to make it act as a non-wobbly 2 inch extension. I struggled most with unplugging the coil packs. Don’t get discouraged by this step! As long as you remember not to lock the ball of the socket when working on the spark plugs, it becomes a breeze.
